Using rare archive footage, this programme tells the fascinating story of Roadless's products from the tracked machines of the 1920s through to the forestry tractors of the 1980s. Stuart Gibbard has chosen films which focus particularly on the famous 4-wheel drive tractors produced during the 1960s and 70s, as well as those which uncover some lesser known developments. 

The programme also contains conversations with several of the personalities involved, to give a real insight into the work of this pioneering British company.
